Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: 1 October 2026

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets out what you may not do with MultiConnect Cloud. It forms part of our Terms & Conditions and applies to you, your team members, anyone using your access keys (including deploy keys), and the End Users of your deployments. You are responsible for making sure your deployments and End Users comply with it.

1. Illegal and harmful content

You must not host, store, distribute, link to or transmit content that:

  1. is illegal under the laws of India or of the place where it is hosted or accessed;
  2. contains or promotes child sexual abuse material, or sexually exploits minors in any way — we report such content to the authorities;
  3. promotes terrorism, violent extremism, or violence against people or groups;
  4. is defamatory, harassing, threatening, or invades anyone's privacy, including publishing personal data without permission ("doxxing");
  5. infringes copyright, trademarks, patents, trade secrets or other rights, including pirated software, games, media or cracked licences;
  6. facilitates the sale of illegal drugs, weapons, counterfeit goods or other prohibited items;
  7. offers gambling, betting or real-money gaming that is unlicensed or illegal where it is offered; or
  8. is deceptive or fraudulent, including fake shops, investment scams, impersonation of people or organisations, or fake login pages.

2. Malicious and abusive activity

You must not use the Service to:

  1. create, host or distribute malware, ransomware, spyware, viruses, trojans or exploit kits;
  2. run phishing sites or collect credentials, payment details or personal data by deception;
  3. send spam, unsolicited bulk messages or run open mail relays;
  4. launch or take part in denial-of-service (DoS/DDoS) attacks, or offer "stresser" or "booter" services;
  5. scan, probe or test the security of any system or network you do not own or have written permission to test;
  6. gain or attempt to gain unauthorised access to any system, account or data;
  7. run botnets, command-and-control servers, or infrastructure for any of the above;
  8. mine cryptocurrency or run proof-of-work computations;
  9. run open proxies, anonymising relays or Tor exit nodes, or use the Service to hide the origin of malicious traffic;
  10. run click fraud, ad fraud, fake engagement, credential stuffing or account-creation bots; or
  11. cheat, hack or disrupt games or services operated by others, including hosting cheat or exploit distribution services.

3. Abuse of the platform

You must not:

  1. attempt to break out of your container, access other customers' deployments or data, or interfere with the platform's isolation;
  2. probe, scan, load-test or attack the MultiConnect Cloud platform, dashboard or APIs, except through a security research arrangement we have agreed in writing;
  3. exceed rate limits, or deliberately overload shared infrastructure;
  4. circumvent or manipulate billing, metering, resource limits, bandwidth accounting or usage controls;
  5. create multiple accounts to obtain free credits, or to get around a suspension or ban;
  6. resell, sublicense or provide the Service as a hosting product to third parties without our written agreement; or
  7. reverse engineer the platform, except where the law expressly allows it.

4. AI Assistant

You must not use the AI Assistant or the CLI to do anything this AUP prohibits, to try to make the assistant act outside your permissions, or to extract information about other customers or our systems.

5. Security testing of your own deployments

You may test the security of your own deployments, as long as the testing is confined to them and does not affect the platform or other customers. Load testing your own deployment is allowed within your plan's limits; bandwidth and resource usage is charged as normal.

6. Reporting abuse

To report abuse, illegal content or infringement related to a site or service hosted on MultiConnect Cloud, email contact@multiconnectcloud.com with the subject "Abuse Report" and include the URL or IP address, a description of the problem and any supporting evidence. Intellectual property complaints should identify the work and the infringing material and include your contact details and a statement that you are the rights holder or authorised to act for them.

7. What we do about violations

7.1 We may investigate suspected violations and act without prior notice, including by: warning you; removing or disabling access to content; restricting network access; stopping or deleting deployments; revoking access keys and tokens; suspending your account; or permanently terminating and banning your account.

7.2 We also act on orders and directions from courts and government or law-enforcement authorities, and may preserve and disclose information to them as required by law.

7.3 When an account is terminated for violating this AUP, its credits are forfeited and not refunded, and the owner may not open a new account.

7.4 Stopped or suspended deployments remain chargeable while they exist, as set out in our Terms & Conditions.

7.5 Our decision on whether content or activity violates this AUP is final, subject to your rights under applicable law and our grievance process.
