Upload your build as a .zip from the dashboard or the CLI. Large builds are uploaded in parts, and the maximum build size depends on your plan.
What's Included
Automatic failover
Every database has a companion node on a different physical host. If the primary fails, the companion is promoted automatically and your connection address stays the same.
Standby or readable replica - your choice
Keep the companion as a hidden standby, or make it a readable replica for SELECT queries at the same price. Either way it is your failover target.
Scheduled backups
Choose how often backups run (from every hour to once a day) and how many to keep. Take a manual backup any time.
One-click restore
Restore your database from any retained backup from the dashboard.
Closed by default
Nothing can connect until you allowlist the IP addresses or ranges that should reach your database.
Encrypted connections
Connections are encrypted with TLS. Download the platform certificate authority to verify the server identity from your application.
Plan changes without rebuilding
Move to a bigger or smaller plan from the dashboard. The switch-over causes a short write interruption of under a minute.
Cache add-on
Add an optional in-memory cache alongside your database for fast reads and sessions.

Backup storage beyond your plan's included amount is charged from your credit balance.

Backups are for recovery within the platform. We recommend keeping your own independent copies of important data as well.

Deleting a database deployment deletes its data and all of its backups. Before deletion we take a final backup and email a download link that is valid for a limited time.

If your credit balance reaches zero, database deployments are deleted like every other deployment.

Both are a second copy of your database on a separate host that takes over if the primary fails. A standby is hidden and used only for failover. A readable replica also accepts read-only queries, which lets you move reporting or heavy SELECT traffic off the primary. The price is the same.
The dashboard shows the host, port and a ready-made connection string for your framework. Add your application’s IP addresses to the allowlist first – connections from anywhere else are refused.
You choose. Backups can run every 1, 2, 4, 6, 12 or 24 hours, and you choose how many recent backups to keep.
The companion node is promoted and connections are routed to it. Your connection address does not change; applications should reconnect automatically after a brief interruption.
