01. Introduction
This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) describes how MultiConnect Cloud (“Company”, “we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, stores, protects, and shares information when you use the MultiConnect Cloud platform (“Platform”, “Service”), including all associated websites, APIs, CLI tools, dashboards, and documentation.
By creating an account or using the Service, you consent to the practices described in this Policy. If you do not agree with this Policy, you must not use the Service.
We reserve the right to update this Policy at any time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email or dashboard notification. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
02. Information We Collect
Account Registration Information
When you create an account, we collect:
- First name and last name
- Email address
- Mobile phone number
- Password (stored in hashed form; we never store plaintext passwords)
- Account type (Individual or Business)
Billing and Tax Information
For billing and tax compliance purposes, we collect:
- Billing address
- PAN card number (required for Indian tax compliance)
- GSTIN (for business/company accounts in India)
- Entity proof documents (for business account verification)
Transaction Information
When you purchase credits, we store:
- Transaction ID
- Payment method type (e.g., UPI, credit card, net banking)
- Transaction amount
- Transaction date and time
- Transaction status (success, failed, pending)
- Invoice and receipt details
Important : We do not collect, store, or have access to your payment instrument details such as credit card numbers, debit card numbers, CVV codes, bank account numbers, or UPI PINs. All payment processing is handled entirely by our third-party payment gateway provider(s). Payment instrument data is transmitted directly to and stored by the payment gateway in accordance with PCI-DSS standards.
Deployment and Build Data
When you use the Service, we store:
- Build files and artifacts uploaded for deployment (server builds, API code, website files, database configurations)
- Deployment configurations (hosting plans, region selections, scaling settings, environment variables)
- Container metadata (status, resource usage metrics such as CPU and memory percentages, health check data)
- Build tags, version identifiers, and deployment history
Usage and Analytics Data
We automatically collect:
- Platform usage patterns (e.g., frequency of deployments, deployment types used, feature usage)
- Build upload patterns (e.g., upload frequency, build sizes, platform types)
- Container performance metrics (CPU usage, memory usage, network bandwidth)
- API request logs (endpoint accessed, timestamp, response status – for debugging and service reliability)
- CLI tool usage data (commands used, deployment outcomes)
Technical Data
We may collect:
- IP addresses
- Browser type and version
- Device information
- Operating system
- Referring URLs
- Session duration and page views
Support Ticket Data
When you submit support tickets, we collect:
- Ticket subject and description
- Conversation messages
- Service type classification
- Any attachments you provide
Communication Data
- Email communications related to your account
- OTP verification codes (email and SMS)
- Dashboard notification history
03. How We Use Your Information
Service Delivery
We use your information to:
- Create and manage your account
- Authenticate your identity and secure your sessions
- Process deployments and manage your Containers
- Calculate and deduct billing charges
- Generate invoices and transaction records
- Provide customer support
- Send essential service notifications (deployment status, billing alerts, low balance warnings, security alerts)
Service Improvement and Analytics
We may use aggregated and anonymized usage data and analytics to:
- Improve Platform performance, reliability, and features
- Analyze deployment patterns and usage trends to optimize infrastructure
- Identify and fix bugs, errors, and performance bottlenecks
- Develop new features and services
- Optimize resource allocation across regions
Important : We use analytics data solely for internal service improvement purposes. We do not sell, rent, license, or otherwise commercially distribute any usage data or analytics to third parties.
Security and Fraud Prevention
- Detect and prevent fraudulent activity, abuse, and unauthorized access
- Enforce our Terms and Conditions and Acceptable Use policy
- Monitor for security threats and vulnerabilities
- Investigate and respond to security incidents
Legal Compliance

04. How We Share Your Information
We Do Not Sell Your Data
We do not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise commercially share your personal information, Build Data, deployment data, or billing information with any third party for marketing, advertising, or data brokerage purposes.
Third-Party Service Providers
We may share limited information with trusted third-party service providers who assist us in operating the Platform, strictly on a need-to-know basis and subject to confidentiality obligations. These include:
- Payment gateway providers – To process credit purchases (they receive payment instrument data directly from your browser/device; we do not act as an intermediary for card details)
- Infrastructure providers – To provision and manage hosting infrastructure (server, networking, storage)
- Email and SMS service providers – To send verification codes, notifications, and essential communications
- DNS and SSL certificate providers – To manage custom domains and SSL certificates
Legal Requirements
We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, or in the good-faith belief that such disclosure is necessary to:
- Comply with a legal obligation, regulation, or governmental request
- Protect and defend our rights or property
- Prevent or investigate possible wrongdoing
- Protect the personal safety of users or the public
Business Transfers

05. Data Storage and Security
Data Storage
Your data is stored on servers managed by our infrastructure providers. We implement commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including:
- Encryption of sensitive data at rest and in transit (HTTPS/TLS)
- Encrypted storage of credentials (App Keys, App Secrets) using AES-256-GCM encryption
- Hashed password storage (we never store plaintext passwords)
- Role-based access controls within the Platform
- HMAC-based request authentication for API and CLI access
Security Measures
While we implement industry-standard security practices, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining strong, unique passwords
- Enabling two-factor authentication
- Securing your App Keys and App Secrets
- Managing account access and revoking access for unauthorized individuals
Breach Notification
In the event of a data breach that affects your personal information, we will notify affected users via email and/or dashboard notification within a commercially reasonable timeframe, and take appropriate steps to mitigate the impact.
06. Data Retention
Active Accounts
We retain your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service.
Closed Accounts
Upon account closure or termination:
- Deployment data (Containers, Build Data, databases) will be deleted within a reasonable period (typically 30 days)
- Account information and transaction records may be retained for a longer period as required for legal, tax, accounting, or regulatory compliance purposes
- Aggregated and anonymized analytics data may be retained indefinitely
Legal Retention
We may retain certain information beyond account closure as required by applicable law (e.g., tax records, transaction history, invoices as required by Indian tax regulations).
07. Your Rights and Choices
Access and Correction
You may access and update your account information at any time through the Platform dashboard (account settings, profile, billing address).
Data Deletion Request
If you wish to permanently delete all of your data from the MultiConnect Cloud ecosystem, you may request data deletion by:
- Option 1: Submitting a support ticket through the dashboard (Dashboard → Support → Create Ticket) with the subject “Data Deletion Request”
- Option 2: Sending an email to our support team with the subject line “Data Deletion Request” and including your registered email address and account ID
Upon receiving and verifying a valid data deletion request, we will:
- Verify your identity to prevent unauthorized deletion requests
- Delete all active Deployments and Containers associated with your account
- Delete all Build Data, uploaded files, and stored configurations
- Delete all database data (if applicable)
- Delete your account profile information, including name, email, and phone number
- Retain only the minimum transaction and tax records required by applicable law
- Send a confirmation of deletion to your registered email address
Data deletion is typically completed within thirty (30) days of request verification. Please note that data deletion is irreversible – once completed, we cannot recover your data.
Data Portability
You may export your data at any time by:
- Downloading your Build Data and database backups through the Platform dashboard
- Exporting your deployment configurations
- Requesting a copy of your account data via a support ticket
Communication Preferences
- You may opt out of promotional and marketing communications at any time
- You may not opt out of essential service communications (billing alerts, security notifications, account-related notifications, Terms/Policy updates)
Account Access Management
You have full control over who can access your account through the role-based access control system. You may add, modify, or remove team members and their permissions at any time.
08. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
Essential Cookies
We use essential cookies and similar technologies to:
- Maintain your authenticated session
- Remember your preferences and settings
- Ensure Platform security
Analytics
We may use analytics tools to understand how users interact with the Platform. This data is used solely for service improvement and is not shared with third parties for advertising purposes.
No Third-Party Advertising Cookies
We do not use third-party advertising cookies or tracking pixels on the Platform. We do not allow third-party advertisers to collect data through the Platform.
09. Children's Privacy
The Service is not intended for children under the age of 18 (or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected information from a child, we will take steps to delete it promptly.
10. International Data Considerations
The Platform is operated from India. If you access the Service from outside India, your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in India. By using the Service, you consent to the transfer of your information to India and acknowledge that your information will be subject to Indian data protection laws.
11. Third-Party Links and Services
The Platform may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of such third parties. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services you interact with
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via:
- Email notification to your registered email address
- Dashboard notification
The “Last Updated” date at the top of this Policy indicates when the latest revision was made. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
13. Governing Law
This Privacy Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising under this Policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India.
